Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ListerPilot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

ListerPilot is a seller workflow and listing operations tool for Etsy sellers. It helps with draft listing preparation, review steps, listing updates, and performance analytics. The Service interacts with the Etsy API v3 on your behalf via OAuth 2.0 authorization to read connected shop data and write seller-approved listing changes back to Etsy.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • You must comply with Etsy's terms of use and API terms when using our Service
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service

4. Etsy API Usage

When you connect your Etsy shop, you authorize ListerPilot to read your listings, listing images, shop sections, shipping profiles, taxonomy properties, inventory context, and sales receipts for your connected shop. When you approve changes, ListerPilot can write updated listing fields such as titles, tags, descriptions, materials, product dimensions, attributes, images, and listing state back to Etsy where the API allows it. Draft content remains under seller review until the seller chooses whether to publish or sync it live. You can revoke this access at any time through your Etsy account settings.

ListerPilot enforces safety guardrails on live-change operations, including queue limits, cooldowns, workspace-level controls, and audit logging. Despite these safeguards, you are ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving all changes before they are sent to Etsy.

5. AI-Generated Content

ListerPilot uses a structured system to generate listing content: a deterministic keyword allocator assigns keywords from a curated bank based on product type, dimensions, and shop context, then an AI model generates titles, descriptions, and tags using that material. While we enforce tag and workflow constraints, AI-generated content may still contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before it is published or pushed live on Etsy.

6. Subscription & Billing

ListerPilot is offered as a paid subscription service with monthly billing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis at the rate corresponding to your selected plan.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are issued for partial billing periods
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice
  • Early access members who lock in a rate retain that rate while their subscription remains active

7. Usage Limits

Subscription tiers may include catalog-size guidance, usage thresholds, or fair-use limits for ListerPilot features such as AI generation, background removal, analytics history, review workflows, or connected shops. When a plan limit is reached, related ListerPilot features may pause until your next billing cycle or require an upgrade.

We reserve the right to enforce fair-use limits on compute-intensive features to maintain service quality for all users. Current limits are documented on our pricing page.

8. Data Caching & API Compliance

ListerPilot complies with Etsy's API Terms of Use regarding data freshness. ListerPilot is designed to refresh listing data before it exceeds Etsy's 6-hour freshness limit and to refresh other Etsy-derived content before it exceeds Etsy's 24-hour freshness limit. If cached data is approaching those limits, ListerPilot may trigger a background refresh, surface a freshness warning, or temporarily restrict sensitive actions until fresher data is available.

9. Prohibited Use

  • Using the Service to violate Etsy's terms of service
  • Attempting to access other users' data or workspaces
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service
  • Using the Service to send spam or misleading content
  • Automated scraping or excessive API usage beyond normal operation

10. Limitation of Liability

ListerPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost sales, listing suspensions, SEO ranking changes, or any actions taken by Etsy in response to changes made through our Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
